Invisalign® is a custom-made, nearly invisible dental device designed to straighten teeth and correct underlying problems with the bite.
Invisalign® straightens teeth with a series of thin, clear aligners which are custom made for each patient. Imaging technology is used to transform plaster models of the patient’s teeth into a highly accurate 3-D digital image. This image is then used to create a series of aligners. The patient wears the aligners all the time, except to eat and clean the teeth. Every two weeks the patient gets a new aligner until the teeth are straight.
