Through Cosmetic Dentistry, the appearance of the mouth can be altered to create a beautiful smile. There are two emerging trends in cosmetic dentistry: one is a more aggressive approach where teeth are cut and veneers or crowns are placed. The second is a more conservative approach where teeth are not cut or are cut only minimally, and the patient is given options such as Invisalign® or non-prep veneers called Lumineers®. Both aggressive and conservative dentistry produce beautiful results, but the conservative approach preserves heathly tooth structure wherever possible.
